Ocean View Baptist Church is located on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in the town of Kill Devil Hills. We began under the leadership of the Holy Spirit in September 1994 with a vision of providing a total worship program for locals and visitors alike. Our membership is made up of persons from all areas of the country and from all walks of life with a desire to make all welcome to worship in a traditional format with a contemporary praise and worship flare.

A NOTE FROM OUR PASTOR, STEVE SIEGRIST:

Ocean View has been a part of the community 1994. I have been here since 2004 and there is no question to the fact that God has called me here to be a part of a mission. With thousands of people living in the Outer Banks with no church to call home, there is plenty to do. I believe as a pastor in a church on the Outer Banks, there is a unique opportunity for a special kind of ministry. This is a resort area and a great missions field, not only to vacationers, but also to those who call Outer Banks home all year long.

It is a passion of mine to help people experience God and have a living relationship with Jesus Christ. Because Ocean View is a young church, I need help. I am looking for people who want to be a part of a new ministry with a desire to help others grow in Christ and make a difference in this community.

There are so many uncertainties in this world an we are surrounded with so many unhappy people. The Bible tells us "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" Philippians 4:13. Help me to help others have a happier life and trust in Christ for everything? That is a vision of mine and I am looking for others who want to have a part of that!Thanks and God Bless.
